Philip Baker

Short Biography

Philip Baker is Senior Research Officer at the Centre for Metropolitan History, Institute of Historical Research, University of London. He is the author of several articles on the politics of the 1640s and on the social and economic history of early modern London, the editor of The Levellers: The Putney Debates (2007) and he is also the co-editor of a forthcoming volume of essays on the Agreements of the People.
